My name is Lynn and I’m the author of Breadonbutter. It all started when I met my husband Jean and we discovered the same passions for cooking, travel, Design and interiors. My love for writing drove me to document everything from our recipes, to our travel adventures, to the products we buy and love. I completely admit that you’ll find a huge bias when it comes to rice, raw fish, and all things Asian because my love for them cannot be described apart from being Japanese in another life.
Documenting things I see and observe has always been my thing and I now have the kitchen secrets of my mom and beloved grandmother in a cherished notebook at home.
We live in Lebanon and travel whenever we have the smallest chance. We also love to discover our own country and be surprised by it.
In the recipes shared on Breadonbutter, you will find food from all backgrounds. Most salty dishes are cooked by Jean and most desserts and sweets are baked by myself. You’ll also find tips and ideas for travel and outings, as well as Design items for the home and kitchen. At Breadonbutter, we also love having people we find special and interesting, share their own recipes showing the way they perceive the world through their dishes. Each recipe (as much as it looks the same on paper) is interpreted differently by people with different tastes and personalities, and that’s the purpose of creating a Breadonbutter community. We encourage people who care to share their discoveries and food through us!
Breadonbutter is a blog that exists to bring you tips on food, travel and lifestyle, but also to inspire you to heighten your daily life. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will be inspired enough to become an everyday reader. Always stay tuned!
